Teen wanted in Newport News shooting

Newport News police are searching for a teen wanted in a triple shooting back in February.

Police are looking for 19-year-old Tyrek Laquann Allen. According to officials, he is described to be 5’7 and 178 pounds.

Allen is wanted by Newport News police on three counts of malicious wounding and three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. 

Police say the charges are for his involvement is a triple shooting which happened at 33rd Street and Marshall Avenue on February 21, 2012. 

His last known address is 700 Waterfront Circle – he has been seen recently in the area of Waterfront Circle and the Aqua Vista Apartments. That’s between Jefferson Avenue and Ivy Avenue on 6th Street.

Police say Allen may have changed his hairstyle.
