At a home in the Kings Grant section of Virginia Beach, there's a mystery. What killed a mother and her son?
Hilda Deal, 93, and her 59-year-old son Robert were found dead together.
Investigators say Robert didn't live there, but he would visit often because he took care of her.
Police also say they both had medical issues, but the Medical Examiner is keeping the autopsy results secret for now.
On Tuesday, Virginia Beach Police got a call from a neighbor who was concerned that he hadn't seen Hilda Deal in a while.
What added to the concern was the fact that newspapers had been collecting on the front porch, and there was a car in the driveway, but no movement from the home.
Investigators say there's no criminal activity connected to this and no foul play at all.
Neighbors say Hilda Deal lived in the home for quite a few years. She typically kept to herself, but the neighbors say she would occasionally come out and talk to them over the fence. They also say her son would make regular visits to check on her.
