A Virginia Beach Navy SEAL was no stranger to sacrifice.
Chief Special Operator Chris Campbell was killed in the August 6 Chinook helicopter crash, where 22 Navy SEALs lost their lives.
But during his career, he constantly put himself in danger for his fellow SEAL Team members - so it seemed fitting after his death to give back to other wounded warriors.
His family, chosen to carry out his final mission, has never before given a television interview until now.
NewsChannel 3’s Laurie Simmons talked with them about Chris’ legacy and how you can take action to help his family fulfill his final wish.
It’s a story you’ll see ONLY ON 3, tonight at 5.
