The military is trying a new system to help veterans get their medical records at VA hospitals.
Wednesday morning, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told Congress about the change.
He says the Pentagon will integrate veterans' Department of Defense Medical Records with their records kept at the VA.
Right now, this will only happen at the VA hospitals in Hampton and San Antonio.
