BLACKSBURG, Va.—

According to a report from WDBJ7.com, dogs are helping students get through a tough work day at Virginia Tech.

Research dogs at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg are getting a lot of attention – when they’re not in the lab for students to examine, they’re outside having fun with the BARC club.

“It stands for Bonding with Animals through Recreation on Campus,” said Dr. Marlice Vonck, faculty advisor. “It is a very creative name and very applicable to a club working with dogs.”
