A woman accused of pushing an 83-year-old so hard, she eventually died, will not go on trial.
The Suffolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office says 61-year-old Velma Brown is unfit for trial.
A judge declared Brown incomptetent, and she has been released from prison.
She was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 83-year-old Elizabeth Newby, after police say Brown pushed Newby to the ground at a senior citizen's luau.
Officials say Newby fell and broke her hip. She later died from those injuries.
Newby's family has filed a wrongful death suit.
