Man shot at Hampton McDonald’s

Hampton, Va. – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Friday night after being shot in the parking lot of a Hampton McDonald’s

At 10:08 pm Hampton Police received multiple calls about a shooting in the McDonald’s parking lot in the 1500 block of East Pembroke Avenue.

When officers arrived they found a 29-year-old Hampton man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with possibly life threatening injuries.

The investigation revealed that a verbal argument took place in the parking lot between two groups. During the argument the suspect shot the victim then fled the scene in a dark colored sedan.

The suspect and victim are not known to each other and incident remains under investigation.
