The Suffolk Salvation Army is looking for the public to donate.

They have 500 book bags that need to be filled.

The organization is collecting for families and children in need.

For those who need help getting school supplies, the Salvation Army is taking applications starting August 6th through the 17th.

Supplies will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis on August 29th and 30th.
