Suffolk police say someone broke into several cars sometime overnight Wednesday.
Officials say a football, Blackberry phone, and a pair of sandals were taken.
The suspect left the purse and backpack, police say. The incident happened at a home on Belleharbour Circle, where the suspect broke windows out of three parked vehicles. Several cars were also parked along Pear Orchard Way.
The two locations are less than a mile apart, according to police. There are no injuries reported.
