Suffolk police say a vehicle was stolen during a rash of thefts from vehicles in the city.

They say it occurred late Wednesday evening and during the early morning hours on Thursday.

The vehicle police are searching for is a 2008 Honda Accord, 4-door, gray, with Virginia license plates XFR-3768. The vehicle was stolen from the 3700 block of Pear Orchard Way between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m.

The victims also had another vehicle that was broken into. They say a phone was reported stolen. Two other vehicles were also broken into in the same area. They say nothing was stolen. There was no forced entry police say and investigators believe that a tool may have been used to get into the vehicles.

They say several other vehicles were broken into in the 1000 and 3000 blocks of Belleharbour Circle.

Police say vehicles in the area had windows broken out with items tossed around inside and outside of the vehicles.

Police say another vehicle in the 5500 block of Townpoint Road also had a window broken out and a backpack stolen and a vehicle in the 6200 block of College Drive had a car radio, wallet and CDs stolen.

No one was injured during any of the incidents and there are no suspect descriptions at this time.
