Injured Peregrine falcon found in Virginia Beach

A Peregrine falcon was found in Virginia Beach and taken to the Virginia Wildlife Center.

It’s the same falcon that was injured and taken to the center earlier this year.

The falcon was found on an oceanfront hotel balcony after Monday's storms.

After a quick examination, experts were able to figure out it's the same falcon treated back in January.

Back then, the bird had a fractured wing and an injured eye.

After months of rehabilitation he was released in early June at the nature preserve in Hampton.

After examining the falcon for the past two days the veterinarians still haven't been able to figure out why he can't fly.

One possibility is that he has tissue damage that doesn't show up on x-rays.
