Are you looking for a job in Chesapeake?

Washington, D.C. – According to a release from the Congressional District Office, Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) announced that over 40 area employers are scheduled to attend a job fair he is hosting today at Greenbrier Middle School in Chesapeake.

The job fair is free and open to all constituents who are interested in learning about available jobs with area businesses.

Officials say that in addition to meeting with area businesses, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with experts on resume writing, interviewing, and job searching, as well as get information on available apprenticeships.

Congressman Forbes made the following statement about the job fair: “I hope this event will provide a forum for employers and potential employees to learn about opportunities that are available in our region as we continue to work to create prospects for citizens of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District.”

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Greenbrier Middle School, located at 1016 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320.

Entrance to the job fair will be on a first-come first-serve basis.
