Beach police searching for man who stole clothes from Kohl’s

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who stole clothes from the Kohl’s on Princess Anne Road by putting several layers on under his own clothing. 

On July 14 at approximately 7:00 p.m. the man was observed by a loss prevention officer taking a large amount of clothes into the dressing room.  The man then exited the room appearing to wear additional layers of clothes.  He placed a few clothing items back on the rack and left the store.  The officer could not locate the man in the parking lot and contacted the police.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’11 to 6’1 and between the ages of 25 to 30.  He was wearing a dark colored dress-like cover and hat.
