Police say at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, a man was shot in the 3500 block of Madison Avenue in Newport News.
A man in his 20s was shot in the upper arm and collar bone.
Police found him in the 600 block of 36th Street.
He was transported to the hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information or description at this time.
