In Newport News - the daughter of a woman raped in a home invasion is giving NewsChannel 3 a message for the man who did it.
The attack happened early Sunday morning on Wickham Avenue in the southeast area of the city.
A man broke into a pair of apartments, raping one woman in the process.
Her daughter doesn't want to show her face on camera, but she's angry, wants justice, and wants her mom's attacker to hear this:
"You ought to be ashamed of yourself and you have a mother as well, and you wouldn't want no one to do that to your mother."
The suspect is described as a man in his mid-twenties with short hair.
