Feds: Man arrested for e-mailing threats against President Obama

(CNN) — Secret Service agents arrested a Washington man Tuesday for making threats against President Obama, a spokeswoman with the justice department said.

The man sent a threatening e-mail to the FBI, Emily Langlie, with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, said.

When Secret Service agents arrived at the man’s apartment in the Seattle suburb of Federal Way to arrest him, he was armed. Agents found two weapons and called the bomb squad to sweep the unit.

The man was identified as Anton Caluori, 31, according to Brian Leary of the Secret Service,

He will make his first appearance in court on Wednesday afternoon.

Langlie didn’t specify the nature of the threat.
