Why Hampton Roads Soccer Council?
Those close to Andrew know how active and well rounded he was in sports, and how much he enjoyed competing on teams with friends. The one sport that persisted since a child was soccer. He grew up playing on these Virginia Beach fields and even envisioned coaching little kids one day. He also really enjoyed recent years playing at this soccer complex, and truly valued the camaraderie of family and friends that came along with it.
Donating to the Hampton Roads Soccer Council is the best fit due to Andrew’s love for soccer and is also a way to give back to the community, supporting an active life style for both youth and adults in the local area that we know meant so much to him. The goal is to raise enough money to build a memorial area at the soccer complex (ie: picnic area, benches, etc) in honor of Andrew that will also bring value to the facilities.

Why Shorebreak?
Those close to Andrew also know how much he loved following sports and spending time with friends at Shorebreak watching events and just having a great time at this Sports Bar! Shorebreak was nearly a second home to him during certain sports seasons, and his birthday was celebrated there on more than one occasion. We all are extremely grateful for Shorebreak’s very generous support and enthusiasm in hosting this event!

By attending the Shorebreak Event you are contributing to this Benefit. Additional (separate) donations of any amount are also greatly appreciated. Individual donations can be accepted at the Shorebreak Event or submitted directly to the Hampton Roads Soccer Council.
