‘Moon Party’ with Back Bay astronomers

Want to learn more about astronomy? Tonight, there is an event for you.

The Back Bay Astronomy Association will be hosting a Moon Party tonight, Monday, August 27, 2012.

The public is invited to come out and experience the moon and planets up close and personal as members of the Back Bay Astronomy Association bring their telescopes out for an evening adventure.

The event is tonight from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Princess Anne Library, located at 1444 Nimmo Parkway in Virginia Beach.

The rain date is set for Tuesday, August 28. Register by calling 757-385-2610 or by stopping in to the library.
