First full day of GOP Convention

Posted

The republicans had their first full day of the GOP Convention in Tampa.

Ann Romney and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were the featured speakers.

Ann Romney focused on her love story with her husband and the economic plight of women. She told the convention voters they can have confidence in Mitt Romney.

"I can't tell you what will happen over the next four years, but I can only stand here tonight as a wife and a mother and a grandmother, an American, and make you this solemn commitment. This man will not fail."

When she was finished, Mitt Romney greeted her on stage with a hug and a kiss.

There were no hugs for Governor Christie. He took the stage with a fist pump and told the delegates that it's time to make the tough decisions to make America great again.
