Two men were attacked by a rabid fox only hours apart in Virginia Beach.
It happened off Glen View Drive in the Alexandria neighborhood.
The first victim tells NewsChannel 3 he was working in his front yard when the fox attacked him.
He was able to scare it off but warned neighbors after the animal ran into the woods.
Two hours later, the fox jumped his neighbor's nearly six-foot high fence.
Vanderberg and his neighbor were able to corner the fox and kill it with a brick.
Both victims are getting rabies shots but both are expected to be okay.
Still, animal control advises that you do not approach any wild animal but back away slowly and call them instead.
