Two NATO service members died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan Wednesday morning.
The crash happened in the Logar province in the eastern part of the country. It is still under investigation.
The nationalities of the service members have not been released.
The Taliban is claiming responsibility for the crash, but that claim has not yet been confirmed.
Afghanistan has arrested or discharged hundreds of soldiers over insider attacks.
So far this year, more than 40 NATO troops have been killed by Afghan security forces or insurgents in uniform.
They are known as “green-on-blue attacks.”
Their frequency recently prompted "U.S. Forces in Afghanistan" to suspend the training of local police recruits.
