Olympic champion Gabrielle Douglas will be recognized during the Neptune Festival at the Oceanfront.
The Virginia Beach native will also be given a key to the city by Mayor Will Sessoms.
The mayor is declaring this Friday, September 28th Gabby Douglas Day.
The ceremony is scheduled for 9 Friday night on 31st Street.
