Chesapeake,Va. – Contractors are working today from 9:30 a.m. until about 2:00 p.m. to remove poles from the Steel Bridge on Dominion Blvd.
This will require the closure of one travel lane, with flaggers alternating traffic in both directions.

Motorists can use Battlefield Blvd., Great Bridge Blvd. and Cedar Road as an alternate route to avoid the work area and anticipated delays.
The bridge will also be down to one lane Tuesday night from 9pm-midnight.
