When this ship was built in Newport News, it was the sleekest - the fastest - the most advanced ocean liner to sail the world. Years later, it is not much to look at. It's a broken and battered ghost ship.
But a group of investors, along with a charity, are trying to turn the tide of the SS United States and maybe even restore it to its former glory and dock it in Norfolk.
