(CBS) – If you’re reading on your smartphone or laptop, chances are you are hunched over, with your head tilted forward.
Doctors say the bending can cause “text neck”, and the condition is more than just headaches or neck strain.
The “head forward” position can reduce your lung capacity by 30 percent.
Doctors say to avoid “text neck” keep your feet flat on the floor, roll your shoulders back and keep your head as upright as possible.
When all else fails, doctors say just take a break from your mobile device.
