On Saturday, October 20, 2012 at about 8:50 p.m., police say a man entered the Dollar General Store, located at 5920 Jefferson Avenue, and asked for the manager. Police say when the manager approached the man, he told her that he was there to rob the store, and ordered her to give him all of the store’s cash. According to reports, the man kept both of his hands inside his pocket, as if he had a weapon.
