Watch out for deer on Virginia’s roads!
The commonwealth is one of the top states when it comes to deer crashes according to State Farm.
Virginia is 10th when it comes to deer crashes.
North Carolina is 21st on the list.
According to State Farm, one in 103 people will be involved in a deer crash in the commonwealth.
That number jumps to one in 135 in North Carolina.
Nationally, West Virginia is the worst when it comes to deer crashes.
One in 40 people are involved in a crash there each year.
Deer crashes are least likely to happen in Hawaii.
Now there are signs warning people about where there could be deer sightings.
