Currituck County Schools are closed on Monday.
According to Sandy Kinzel, Assistant Superintendent for Currituck County Schools, officials for Currituck County Schools have made the decision to cancel school for all students and staff on Monday, October 29.
The constraints of the school calendar have limited the days available for makeup following inclement weather closures, they say.
For this reason, the makeup for this missed day has been scheduled for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd.
An early release schedule will be released soon.
School officials will continue to monitor conditions through communication with and information received from Emergency Management during and after the storm’s passing.
