Sandy has now been re-classified as a post-tropical cyclone, meaning the storm is less like a hurricane and more like a winter storm.
The center of Sandy is close to landfall near Atlantic City, NJ. Maximum sustained winds are down to 85 mph. Sandy is expected to move west into Pennsylvania, before turning north and bringing high winds, heavy rain and even snow to areas of Pennsylvania, New York and New England.
