Newport News police need your help to find a man accused of robbery.

They say on November 4, 2012 at about 9:32 P.M. they responded to the Dollar General at 15435 Warwick Boulevard in reference to a robbery.

When officers arrived, they say the suspect was already gone.

They say the suspect went into the Dollar General store and demanded the clerk to hand over the money.

They say he had his hand in his jacket pocket and implied that he had a weapon, but no weapon was ever displayed.

The suspect was last seen going through a gap between the stores and behind the shopping center.

Police say the suspect was wearing a navy blue windbreaker with a hood and a black ball cap with the hood over the cap, along with light blue jeans and black running shoes with darker black stripes on the sides.

He was also wearing black gloves with white tips and wearing dark sunglasses. The suspect was wearing a sandy brown fake beard.

Police believe, based on the descriptions, that this suspect is the same person responsible for several other robberies in the area.
