A single lane closure is scheduled for the Southbound Route 168 Bypass Bridge (over the Chesapeake and Albemarle Canal).
The closure will take place on Friday, November 16 and Monday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The Bridges Division will replace an expansion joint in the left-hand lane on the southbound Route 168 Bypass Bridge on Friday. They will continue with their biannual bridge safety inspection on Monday with work in the right-hand lane.
Motorists should plan ahead and be alert to work crews, equipment in the area, and possible delays.
