Virginia Beach police say one person was shot this morning. NewsChannel 3 learned the shooting could have been the result of an armed robbery.
It happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning on Aragona Boulevard near the 7-Eleven store on Haygood Road.
The person who was shot is expected to recover.
Police are investigating - so far, no arrests have been made.
