A soldier has died in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense says Staff Sergeant Wesley Williams of Ohio died Monday in Kandahar.
Officials say his unit was attacked with a homemade bomb.
The 25-year-old was stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.
