I.BasicFunction
Selects and assembles full cases of products to fill customer orders. Is accountable for meeting productivity, accuracy and safety work standards. May use a variety of automated equipment and may work with dry, frozen, or cooled products. Other duties may include truck loading, truck unloading, placing or moving products in storage, janitorial or other.
II.EssentialDuties
Select assemble and palletize cases, boxes, bags, pallets of grocery/frozen/dairy/produce and related products in the quantities ordered for delivery to retail store customers.
Must be accurate and dependable.
Receive product, check in and verify that correct product and quantities were received on each PO and label pallet.
Breakdown pallet and lump ( stack ) product on pallets to be put in proper slots.
III.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
Previous warehouse experience a plus
Forklift experience helpful
Must be able to read and understand English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Using both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls.
Using hands for repetitive action such as firm grasping and twisting motions
Being around moving machinery (training provided)
Exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity (85°to -20°in freezer)
Operating moving equipment, i.e. walkers, highlifts.
Repetitive lifting of case product with weight range 5lbs – 100lbs (average approximately 33 lbs)
Repetitive stepping up/down to mount and dismount power equipment
Exposure to power equipment noise (protection furnished) |
