Photos: Motorcyclist airlifted in Suffolk accident

Suffolk, Va. – On Friday, December 14, 2012, Suffolk police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in the 3300 block of Pruden Boulevard and Route 460. 

It happened at 8:17 a.m. Friday morning. Police say the accident involved a car and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle is being transported via Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

As a result of the accident, westbound traffic on Pruden Boulevard/Route 460 is being detoured at Robs Drive. There is also a detour being setup at Kings Fork Road.
