According to USA Today, parents concerned about their children’s safety are taking action to try to keep them safe.
They are purchasing armored backpacks in the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy and one company says their sales of child-sized body armor and “bulletproof” backpacks have soared.
The president of the company that manufactures the backpack says sales have tripled according to USA Today.
