UPDATE: The Godwin Bridge is now open.
Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk police are working an incident in the 2200 block of Bridge Road/Route 17 at the Godwin Bridge. Officials say a mobile home fell off of a tractor trailer, due to high winds.
Both northbound lanes of Bridge Road/Route 17 are currently shut down. The mobile home is estimated to weigh 20,000 pounds.
Police were notified of the incident at approximately 10:36 a.m.
