Virginia Beach police investigate 2 shooings, man’s death after being hit by car

Virginia Beach police are coming off a busy overnight.
Investigating two shootings and a man who died after being hit by a car.

It was a busy night indeed for the Virginia Beach Police Department.
At 6:40 Saturday morning, police say a man was hit by a vehicle here on Virginia Beach Boulevard between Aragona and Taldan.
Investigators say 66 year old Tanner Douglas Senior stepped off a median in that area in to the travel lane, and was struck by the pick up truck.
According to police, at the time of the crash, it was dark and rainy, and Tanner Douglas Senior was wearing dark clothing.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the truck.

There were also a pair of shootings overnight.
The first happened at two this morning outside an Oceanfront nightclub on 17th Street.
Police say as two people were getting in their car, they heard several gunshots, and they were both hit.
One of them was grazed and was treated at the scene.

The other needed to be hospitalized, but it's believed that person has been released.
Then, less than an hour later, police say two people were shot in a yard on Condor Street near North Witchduck Road.
Both of those victims were taken to the hospital, but police say one has been released, the other is still in the hospital.
Robbery may be the motive for that one.

In both shooting investigations, police don't have a description of suspects.
