Virginia Beach, Va. – A car struck a disabled vehicle while the driver was trying to push the vehicle off the roadway this morning, police tell NewsChannel 3.
It happened at 8:10 a.m. on December 31, 2012. Police say the victim was pushing the disabled vehicle off the roadway in the 500 block of London Bridge Road, when a driver of another car hit that vehicle; the person was not injured. The victim was at his driver’s side door pushing his vehicle and fell to the ground when the cars made contact with each other.
Police say the victim was transported to a local hospital, due to leg pain.
