Man accused of driving while intoxicated with grandchildren in car

Newport News, Va. – According to Newport News police, a man has been arrested after allegedly driving under the influence of drugs with his two grandchildren in the car. Police say the 3 and 4-year-old children were ages three and four, and they were not properly secured in child safety seats.

The car was stopped  around 2:20 p.m. on December 23 for speeding on 58th Street.

They say the driver told them he was Morgan Henry Jenkins, but officers later found out he was actually 47-year-old David Troy Hundley of Mountville, South Carolina. He was identified through fingerprints. 

According to police, Hundley signed a number of official documents as Morgan Henry Jenkins.

He was arrested and charged with eight counts of forgery, one count each of identity theft, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, speeding, reckless driving, driving with a revoked operator’s license, obstruction of justice, and two counts of child neglect.
