Virginia Beach, Va. – Sandbridge Road will be closed for several hours on Monday afternoon, after a cement truck flipped over and began leaking cement.
Beach police tell NewsChannel 3 it happened at approximately 9:13 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013. The cement truck flipped on Sandbridge Road in front of the fire station, officials say.
No other vehicles are involved. The driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital.
Sandbridge Road will remain closed until possibly 3 p.m. Monday afternoon – or, until the clean up process is complete, officials say.
