Chesapeake, Va. – Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire on South Battlefield Boulevard. Police say it started before 5 a.m. The homeowner was able to escape, and now has a place to stay tonight. Firefighters say there is substantial damage to the home. Watch NewsChannel 3 for updates.
