It was day one of the 2013 Eastern Region Wrestling Tournament at Oscar Smith High School.
Schools from the Beach, Eastern, Peninsula and Southeastern districts came together to compete.
The tournament started Friday morning with a weigh-in at 9 am and the first round starting late morning. Before the quarter finals began, the teams were given a long practice period to get ready for their matches.
Now the tournament continues Saturday morning with the semi-finalists who will compete in hopes of making it to the championship tomorrow night.
