Dominion Virginia Power and Thoroughgood Elementary School in Virginia Beach organized today’s event to form this heart with 750 children, as part of an effort to promote kindness.
The school is also creating a book titled “The Art of Kindness,” featuring the children’s artwork and text on kindness, happiness and friendship.
Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Western Connecticut, Sandy Hook School Support Fund.
