Crews are now investigating on the Eastern Shore after they discovered new evidence that someone tried to set a church on fire.
State police say there was not much damage to the church on Deep Creek Road in Onancock.
State police are still trying to figure out if anyone was inside the church when it happened.
State police say it's too early to tell if this arson is related to the 48 others that have been reported on the Eastern Shore since November.
