Chesapeake, Va. - According to Chesapeake General District Court officials, the treasurer of Oscar Smith High School's band booster club has been charged with embezzlement.
41-year-old Kimberly Compitello has been charged with three counts of embezzlement and one count of forgery, according to online General District Court records.
The embezzlement charges stem from July 1, 2011 and 2012 and Jan. 1, 2012, court records show. The forgery charge stems from Oct. 16, 2012.
