Norfolk church takes action to fight hunger

Posted

Norfolk, Va. - A local church is taking action to help feed people around the world - by packing thousands of meals in one afternoon.

At St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, parishioners are working towards a big goal: packing 10,000 meals - in just two hours.

They're packaging meals through "Stop Hunger Now" - an international hunger relief agency.

After raising money for the food - volunteers at the church worked in assembly-lines Sunday afternoon to put it all together.
