Manns Harbor — Two departures on the Southport-Fort Fisher ferry route on Thursday, Feb. 28 have been canceled as the Motor Vessel Southport will be undergoing an inspection by the U.S. Coast Guard.
It is a normal procedure so the ferry can get its Certificate of Inspection and continue operating.
The canceled departures are 10:45 a.m. from Southport and the 11:30 a.m. from Fort Fisher.
The Thursday schedule will be as follows:
• Departing Southport at 5:30 a.m., 7, 7:45, 8:30, 9:15, 11:30, 1 p.m., 1:45, 2:30, 3:15, 4, 4:45 and 6:15.
• Departing Fort Fisher at 6:15 a.m., 7:45, 8:30, 9:15, 10, 12:15 p.m., 1:45, 2:30, 3:15, 4, 4:45, 5:30 and 7.
