Have you heard about it?
It’s The Comfort Crew for Military Kids – here is some background information on this program:
There are more than two million children in the US and on US military bases around the world dealing every day with the unique challenges of modern military life: multiple deployments, injury, reintegration, moving, and loss. Often, these difficulties can make military kids feel isolated and cut off from the world around them, adding stress, anxiety, confusion and sadness to an already difficult time in a child’s life.
The mission of The Comfort Crew is to support and comfort military children through resources, programs and advocacy that strengthen social and emotional resilience.
