NCDOT will discontinue the two extra ferry runs on the Ocracoke–Swan Quarter ferry route that had started this past Monday. The last extra runs take place today.
This is because NC12 has reopened.
On Thursday, the ferry route will return to its regular schedule:
- From Ocracoke to Swan Quarter at 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
- From Swan Quarter to Ocracoke at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
